Greetings from Kansas city, MO and the RT Convention! I’d tell you all about the city and its weather, but I haven’t yet managed to leave the hotel. Instead, I’ve been chatting, attending seminars, exploring the Sheraton’s bars, and trying not to squee like a deranged fangirl when I see authors I love.
Also, I’ve been handing out more swag, and today, at the RT Ebook, Indie Publisher, and Graphic Novel Expo, I am giving away the queen of all Elements swag. I’ve got two, count ‘em two, goody bags to raffle off–one to Expo attendees, and one to the whole wide internet. You thought the blog tour bags looked good? You ain’t seen nothing yet.
Check out what’s up for grabs:
-A framed photo of Lake Tahoe (Expo attendee) or an ornament of Emerald Bay, made by local Truckee artists (internet winner)
-Either a plush otter or mountain lion (Expo attendee gets first pick)
-Snowflake shaped ice cube tray
-Elements-themed charm bracelet
-Scented candles to please your inner fire
-Aidan Brook aluminum water bottle
-Delphinium seeds for the earths out there
-Two cards featuring a paper-cut black cat
-Shifting Selves tote bag
-Signed copies of both Broken Elements and Shifting Selves
How can this embarrassment of riches be yours? Simple. If you’re at the Expo, stop by my table and fill out a raffle ticket. If you’re not at the Expo, you have a few options:
1. You can like me on Facebook. That’s it. You’re done. Everyone who has liked my page on Facebook–even if you liked it a month or a year ago–is entered.
2. You can follow me on Twitter. To make sure I don’t accidentally give the basket to a spammer, tweet at me what character in the Elements world you’d most like to meet for a drink, or at least a sandwich, and tell me why.
3. Subscribe to the newsletter (form in the sidebar). You must confirm your subscription to be entered.
You can enter one way, or all the ways. I’ll announce the Expo winner at 6pm today. The online winner will need to wait until I get home next Tuesday, when I will employ the high tech method of writing all the entries on a piece of paper and drawing the winner. The giveaway is open to everyone, regardless of which continent you live on.
I’ve got my fingers crossed for all of you. Just don’t ask where all the extra fingers came from.
